Chester Doles

Patriots, what we started here together just about a year ago has been very good. We've done some great things together, we've overcome some tough obstacles.


I've never lied to or mislead anyone concerning my past. For me, it has felt like God has placed this calling on my life, the unity of American Patriots coming together for our one cause, as an atonement for my past life.


Everything I have done, all of my actions to help build and support the growth of American Patriots USA were all paved with good intentions. I have poured blood, sweat & more tears than anyone can imagine into what we have been doing here together.


However, my past will never be forgiven. Let me rephrase that. I know that I am forgiven by the confession of my sins and acceptance of my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. And I know that you, my Patriot family have forgiven my past, and have stood strong for me, even when I didn't think I could stand anymore.


But the media and any opposing group will forever use my past as a weapon against anyone associated with American Patriots USA as long as the name Chester Doles is in anyway involved in it. No matter what I do, I will never be able to atone for my past in any significant way to erase what I was, simply because they need me to be a weapon.


This is unfair to our membership and to the candidates we support. It is true that the candidates that were associated with us, that we were supporting, campaigning for, doing everything we could in a positive way, wound up taking hits for it, because the press turned it around, dug up my past and used me as a weapon to hurt them. Some of our members have had their lives and their business' doxed online, customer base hit, and some have even received death threats for daring to be in a photograph with me.


It's been a great ride. I've absolutely met some of the best people in the world. There are too many people for me to list, and I don't want to take a chance on missing someone, but I've not been shy in telling the people in my life how much they mean to me & how much of an impact they have made in my life as I have grown into this new man God has called me to be, so you all know how special each of you are and what you have meant to me in this walk.


However, I have to thank Derrick Grayson for being a great mentor and minister to me on this journey, and being so willing to stand up for me in the "Face of Giants" and dare speak my name out loud.


So, with much prayer, much thought…and a lot of tears, I have come to the decision that it is time for me to step down, and trust that God is the One that built American Patriots USA, and it is He that is going to take it where it needs to go next so that it can grow into all it can be to be the positive force we envisioned it to be.


I respectfully, hand over the gavel to my trusted VP Josh Mote. I hope that Michael Boggus will accept the office of the new VP.


With the help of our talented Ms. Christy, I'm going to finally write that book. Stay the course folk's, were on the right side of history.

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The American Patriot rally in Dahlonega ended without violence or property damage today although one person was arrested hours before the rally started and two were arrested during the rally.

University of North Georgia police arrested Joshua Parker

for possession of a knife on campus at approximately

10:30 a.m. Counter demonstrators Rachel Scott and

Ronald Watson were arrested for inciting a riot after

they snuck into the staging area reserved for the

event organizers.


Aside from that, the event was uneventful.

Rally organizers sang the Star Spangled Banner,

recited the Pledge of Allegiance,

paid tribute to President Donald Trump then departed.

There was one staging area for the organizers, another for counter protesters and another for the media. Each was cordoned off by steel barriers backed by a row of police officers in full riot gear.

The staging area for the organizers was in front of the Welcome Center. On the other side of the Dahlonega Gold Museum members of Antifa and the Socialist Coalition of North Georgia (SSCNC) carried signs and sang Viet Nam-era protest songs.


An overwhelming show of force by law

enforcement officers made it crystal clear

there would be no violence on this day.

Antifa and SCNG were outnumbered 3 to 1.

Lumpkin County Sheriff Stacy Jarrard said

nearly 600 police officers from 36 local, state

and federal agencies kept the event peaceful.

After the event, Jarrard expressed his gratitude

to officers who came from as far away as Savannah.

“It just goes to show you how law enforcement officers respond when they are needed in another area. All I did was send out a simple email and I immediately got a reply that they were on the way.”

Mayor Sam Norton also expressed his appreciation.“I am humbled by this outpouring of support from our local, state, and federal partners during these events,” he said. “I would also like to thank all the residents and local business owners who sent messages of support to our officers. That is a true reflection of the people who live in our small town.”

There were three distinct winners at the rally today – the First Amendment to U.S. Constitution, the outstanding law enforcement officers and the City of Dahlonega.

The organizers were allowed to exercise their right under the First Amendment. Antifa and the Socialist Coalition of North Georgia did the same. The City of Dahlonega remained unscathed.

The most famous and perhaps most eloquent expression of a people’s right to “dissolve the political bands” which tie them together was penned by Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826) in the Declaration of Independence:

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation….

About this Quotation:

Jefferson took pains to argue that the right of revolution was a limited one, in the sense that one could not do this for weak or frivolous reasons (or “light and transient causes”). It was for this reason that he and his colleagues provided such a long list of grievances against the British monarch in order to prove to the world that their reasons for revolt were serious, longstanding, and many.


In essence the grounds for revolution were two: the offending government had to have moved away from the very reason for its being, namely the protection of each individual’s life, liberty, and property (unfortunately too vaguely expressed here as “the pursuit of happiness”); and that there is a clear pattern of behavior which proves that there is a “design” to create a despotic government over the people.
